Black & Veatch needed to have their Homeland Security-related documents converted to PDF and compressed in order to store them on a database. The documents contained time-critical information that needed to be quickly viewed and accessed by members of the US Department of Homeland Security.
Solution
Black & Veatch licensed CVISION's PdfCompressor with OCR to better manage their documents. The software allowed them to convert all of their documents into PDFs and compress them at ratios equal to or higher than 10x.
Results

The compression allowed them to reduce file sizes at compression ratios 10x or higher, allowing for easier storage in databases and faster transmission to clients.
