Why You Need to Condense PDF File Size

PDF (Portable Document Format) are used for storing and transmitting data across multiple users. Usually for large PDF files, they need to be condensed into smaller files in order to facilitate easier transmission and retrieval. There are many reasons for condensing the PDF files. Primarily they have to do with the fact that huge PDF files cannot be sent as attachments to emails as many of the service providers have limits on the size of the file to be sent as an attachment. Further, for lack of storage space on the computer that one is using, condense PDF file size is an attractive option.

How Do You Condense PDF File Size

There are many ways to condense PDF file size and access to any of the tools available in the market would ensure that one can condense the files with ease. The tools are available for free download for a limited period of time after which you have to buy the license in order to utilize the features fully. The tools come in a variety of options that include the ability to condense and split the PDF files into smaller and manageable units. There are also plug-ins and patches available wherein you can condense PDF files into smaller units without having to install a tool. These plug-ins embed themselves in the PDF software and can be used to condense the files.

Uses of Condensed PDF Files

PDF files that have been condensed can be used to store and transmit data in smaller units that makes it easier for the users to handle large PDF files. Usually, large PDF files are split into smaller and manageable parts so that backups of the data can be taken with little difficulty. This is one of the reasons why users chose to condense PDF file size. The condensed PDF file can be extracted from the archive and re-sized again to get the original size and format in case the original file is needed. Condensed PDF files are easier to handle and thus makes the life of the users smooth when dealing with large file sizes.
