Icr Form

The large enterprise that works with volumes of documents will encounter files that have handwritten text and data within them. If the program used by the company is automated, then it would not have any problems with the extraction and recognition of texts that are in the printed fonts form. The OCR is the most known system that will work in the support for the recognition of information from these files. The limits are the handwritten words that are found in some of the texts. The ICR form software is the solution that most companies often go to. This ICR form system will work in the recognition of the words as quickly as the documents are scanned and transmitted online. Document management systems are now fully utilized as the business now uses both the OCR and the ICR form software to help their employees in the process.

Forms Processing

Working with Icr Form

The ICR form software works with the technology called the Intelligent Character Recognition. This is the software that will detect the words and texts that are in handwritten forms. There are some experts out there who declare that the accuracy of the ICR form program is higher compared to the OCR. However, the biggest task that needs to be overcome by the ICR form system is the nature and the kind of handwriting found in the document. If the written texts are legible for recognition, then the software will easily provide you the most trusted data from the files. This dependency on the type of handwriting is often the limitations that will prevent the accurate reading of the data from the files.

How Does Icr Form Work?

The ICR form system works simply. The documents are first scanned and copied in the database. The ICR form software will then detect the words and will do some initial comparison of the characters individually against the stored database library. The letters are then grouped together according to the original format that it had in the document. Often, the ICR form will then eliminate the errors connected with the characters extracted. In the end, the usual timeframe of the manual process is reduced by the ICR form system.
