You can concise graphics like images and text, so as to reduce the amount of space occupied. The usage of vector graphics can also compress PDF files to a large extent. Graphics can also be downsized to compress PDF files. The color scale can be reduced and the color space can be reduced too. Overwriting data instead of appending to the file can also compress PDF files to a large extent.
