The new release includes breakthrough improvements in compression quality, OCR recognition accuracy, and speed. PdfCompressor 4.0 also adds support for handwriting (ICR,) barcode recognition, and PDF/A format for archiving. CVista PdfCompressor 4.0 strengthens features of earlier releases, and adds new features to meet the expanding needs within document imaging. In an effort to create the most optimal product for clients, Version 4.0 also features an improved GUI for easier simpler use, a recursive watched folder option, an improved license tool for automated battery alerts, and multi-threading support for maximum CPU utilization.
