DETEC specialises in software products and services centered around output management, business communication (B2B, B2C) with document formatting for print and electronic media, including PDF/A conformance. The new DETEC product "myPDFconvert” released in October 2006 completes the product range by PDF/A conversion of already archived or of incoming digital but not yet ISO 19005-1b compliant documents (i.e. TIFF, PDF™). myPDFconvert corrects documents of all PDF versions and graphics formats such as TIFF, JPEG and BMP into PDF/A-conforming documents or to other PDF specifications. Applying CVISION technology, features of myPDFconvert include OCR and powerful compression: Former TIFF files become PDF/A compliant and half the size in space.
