Is it important for imaging software to have both OCR and ICR, or is OCR alone sufficient?
Answer:
While OCR might meet many of your basic needs, it limits your options in terms of the types of documents that you can process. If you only have OCR capabilities, you are restricted to forms that strictly contain printed information.
