Online OCR
January 20th, 2010 by Kelvin
Question: So I recently heard of this thing called OCR. Is it possible to OCR something online or do I need to buy a product?
Answer: OCR or optical character recognition can be done online. A lot of different websites offer online OCR tools so there is a lot to choose from. However, it sounds like you are fairly new to OCR so it would probably be best if you tried something that was easy and simple to use. In my experience, CVISION’s online OCR tool is exactly that. It is also one of the most accurate OCRs out there. You can also download a free trial of their Maestro product.
