Compress a PDF File

June 11th, 2009 by Chris

Question:
Hello. I have a question regarding compressing a PDF file. I’m working on a website, and uploaded a PDF file, but when I tried to view it from my browser it took forever to load. I don’t want my site visitors to turn away in frustration, so is there a way to compress a PDF file?

Answer:
You’ve come to the right place if you need to compress a PDF file. CVISION specializes in PDF file compression software. If you just need to compress a PDF file, we have an online tool that can do it for free, or you can download a trial version of PdfCompressor (see link below). However, if you are a web developer, you are likely to need to compress more than just one PDF file. The full version of the software will let you compress a PDF file, but also compress large batches of them. If you like the trial version, you may want to consider purchasing the full version as a professional tool for your PDF compression needs.
