Zipping PDF Files
June 16th, 2009 by Chris
Question:
Can I zip my PDF files like any other file? I need to send a few large PDF files as an email attachment; how would I go about zipping PDF files?
Answer:
Are you sure you want to be zipping PDF files? Zipping PDF files means the needing to unzip them, and isn’t exactly the most friendly way to send PDF documents. Rather than zipping PDF files, you can compress them with PDF compression software. We have an online tool and a free trial version of our PdfCompressor; there really is no need to be zipping PDF files. If you only have a few files, one or the other will do the trick at no cost to you. If you find yourself often needing smaller PDF files, you might consider the full version of PdfCompressor. If you’d like to check out the trial version, the link below will take you to our downloads page.
