Batch Optimize PDFs
September 15th, 2009 by Marsha
Question:
What does it mean to optimize a PDF? What can I do to optimize multiple PDFs in one shot?
Answer:
PDF optimization is the preparation of a PDF file to make it optimal for Internet use. In general, this means reducing the file size so that it can be uploaded without difficulty. It is common for people who work with PDFs on a regular basis to need to optimize files in large groups, and for that you have batch processing. This enables you to optimize PDFs in large batches, rather than one by one. One excellent tool for PDF optimization is PdfCompressor from CVISION.
