PdfOptimizer integrates with EMC Captiva to create the most optimal PDF file possible through the combination of superior OCR and file compression technologies. The new release of PdfOptimizer now features improved file compression, Arabic OCR, and 508 compliance. PdfOptimizer compresses black and white image files by a factor of 5x-10x and color image files by a factor of 10x-100x. By reducing file size, documents can be emailed, transmitted, and stored more efficiently.
