Question: After using the OCR option on your PdfCompressor software, I am receiving invalid hits on my searches?

Answer: The problem that you are describing I have seen before and it seems to be an Adobe matter. To have properly searchable PDFs please follow these steps:

1. In Adobe, click Edit.
2. Select Preferences from the drop down menu.
3. Select “Search” from the left side panel.
4. Uncheck the option “Enable fast find” (Disable)
5. Press the button that reads “Purge Cache Contents”
6. Try the OCR search again
