OCR Document Scanning
June 3rd, 2010 by Kelvin
Question: What is OCR document scanning? I have been hearing about this for awhile but I still have no idea what it is.
Answer: OCR which is also known as optical character recognition is a technology that will allow your computer to analyze and understand scanned text documents that would normally just be images. This means you would be able to search for key terms without having to go through an entire document. So essentially OCR can be extremely helpful with document scanning. CVISION Technologies has one of the best OCR engines available on the market and their products are simple and easy to use. You can always download a free trial of our products to see how it would work for you.
