OCR Image to Text
December 11th, 2009 by Marsha
Question:
What does it mean to convert an image to text?
Answer:
If a document that contains text is stored in image format, a computer might not be able to read the text, depending on the format of the file. OCR allows you to change the file into a format in which the text can be read by computer. OCR recognizes the text characters and saves this information, so that you can work with the text in the document. CVISION’s Maestro Recognition Server is a high quality OCR solution.
