Compressing PDFs From the Command Line
July 8th, 2010 by Kelvin
Question: I am planning to utilize the command line for compression. I want to know if I choose to compress PDFs from the command line instead of using the GUI, will I get the same results?
Answer: Yes, using the GUI and the command line will give you the same exact results. There is virtually no difference between them. If you are compressing PDFs from the command line as opposed to compressing while using the GUI, your results should be no different. If you are interested in compressing PDFs, you should check out PdfCompressor.
