Question: I use ZIP to compress my files but I heard that the compression rate is not the best. Is there an alternative to ZIP file compression?
Answer: Yes, there are alternatives to ZIP file compression. ZIP file compression does not achieve optimal compression rates and you have to take the time to unzip them in order to view them.
