Question:
I’m looking for software to convert a bunch of JPEG scans of documents to searchable PDF files. Can OCR software do this?

Answer:
Our OCR software, Maestro Recognition Server, can convert files of 15 formats to text-searchable PDF. If you have a lot of files to OCR and convert to PDF, you can use its batch processing mode, which allows you to specify a folder of files to be automatically converted to searchable PDF. Maestro has an average speed of 3 pages per second, allowing you to quickly convert a large number of documents to searchable PDFs.
