Can PDF Files Be Compressed?

July 16th, 2010 by Marsha

Question:
I have some PDF files on my computer that take up a lot of disk space. Can PDF files be compressed?

Answer:
With the help of the right software, you can compress your PDF files and save disk space. To do this, you need to use file compression software that reduces the file size without losing any information contained in the file. CVISION has a compression tool called PdfCompressor which can convert other files to PDF, and then reduce the resulting file by as much as 100x. PdfCompressor is an excellent tool because it allows you to preserve the quality of your files and save disk space at the same time.
