Can OCR identify language characters out of context, or are there different OCR programs for different languages? Do I have to buy two separate programs if I work in English and Spanish, or can I use one for both?

Answer:
To be effective, OCR needs to view characters in the context of a word, so OCR is definitely specific to individual languages. However, you do not need to buy a separate OCR program for every language that you work with. Question: We are scanning our paper with the output file being a TIFF, we would like to take the TIFF documents and convert them to searchable PDFs. Do you provide a solution to convert scanned documents into searchable PDF files?

Question: Do you offer Arabic OCR?

Question: What Font/Size would you recommend to increase the accuracy of the OCR’ing? Will all upper case help or not?

Answer: The best font to use is “Courier” or “Times New Roman” and the size should be between 9 and 20.
